Due to availability issues, Dan Maske has had to withdraw from the Pigskin Hooligans for now, though he may be subbed back in for some Sunday games. The Hooligans would like to thank Dan for his interest and potential services later, and are happy to announce a new, and yet an old, signing:
Ryan Noack, junior - Ryan was on the Hooligan team that went to the championship game last season. He originally thought that he would be unavailable this year due to the new baseball practice regimen, but discovered that he actually can make many of the games. Hailing from the Great White North of Canada, Ryan will provide a tall target on offense just as he did last year and should contribute some solid defense for the Hooligans as well. Ryan had this to say about signing: "I am proud to be joining a team with such a historic background! Coach Russell is a very influential man, who has this team going in the right direction, and I'm honored to be a part of it! Go HOOLIGANS!" Remember, the Hooligans play tomorrow (Tuesday) at 4:00 vs the Rajun Cajun Hot Stixx and Wednesday at 5:00 vs the Ninety-Fives. ROLL HOOLIGANS
