![]() Josh Ulm Junior |
Josh Ulm's long catch-and-run in the championship game, 12/9/11 vs Dream Team Plus Krysiak Hooligans QB Zach Johnston tossed a short pass over the middle to Josh Ulm towards the end of the first half of the game. Johnston called out to him to be sure to hold onto the football, but he did much more than that. Josh proceeded to run through the heart of Dream Team Plus Krysiak's defense, somehow evading flag grabs and picking up yards. Finally the defense just jumped on him to bring him down, tacking on additional yardage. |
2011 | ![]() |
![]() Zach Milner Sophomore |
Zach Milner's game-tying touchdown catch at the end of regulation, 11/9/11 vs Falcons N' Stuff The Hooligans trailed 48-42 with less than a minute to go in their regular season match with Falcons N' Stuff. A swearing penalty on the opposition moved them to mid-field and a few short passes moved them just outside the endzone. With time ticking down, the team scrambled to the line and as time expired Zach Milner came up with a huge touchdown catch to tie the game and force overtime. |
2011 | ![]() |
![]() Cody Cotner Sophomore |
Cody Cotner's touchdown pass to Robert Myers off a trick play, 11/21/11 vs Falcons N' Stuff The Pigskin Hooligans opened up the playbook in their historic 79-42 rout over Falcons N' Stuff. With the team on offense and driving towards the endzone, Cody Cotner wound up with the football in his hands after a few laterals. While he was recruited as a receiver, Cody showed his versatility by firing a tight spiral to Robert Myers for a touchdown pass. |
2012 | ![]() |
![]() Ryan Noack Alumni |
Ryan Noack's game-clinching pick 6, 11/11/12 vs Prestige Worldwide The Hooligans found themselves in very few close games this season, but they led by merely single digits late in their season opener. Prestige Worldwide had made a small run after scoring twice and now had the ball looking to take the lead. Ryan was not about to let that happen, however, as he read QB Brad Kindred's eyes and made the interception. The resulting INT TD return put the Hooligans up by two scores and secured the win. |
2012 | ![]() |
![]() Clyde Rhodes Sophomore |
Clyde Rhodes' one-handed interception, 11/29/12 vs Big Boyz Clyde was a late sub for the Hooligans' regular season matchup against the Big Boyz. He found himself on defense when Ahmad Trice threw a deep bomb down the field into Hooligan territory. Clyde read the play well, timing his jump and getting a hand on the ball as the opposing receiver tried to catch it as well. He managed to wrest the ball away, coming up with a key pick that gave the Hooligans the ball back. |
2012 | ![]() |
![]() Kristina Butcher Sophomore |
Kristina Butcher's flag grab on Big Boyz' crazy 3-pt conversion try, 12/5/12 vs #5 Big Boyz The Hooligans already had their playoff victory well in hand, so just for fun the #5 seeded Big Boyz decided to try a 3-pt conversion. As such the play started from midfield, and almost immediately they starting lateraling. And lateraling. And lateraling. The ridiculous play went on for almost 2 minutes until Kristina decided to put an end to all the madness and snatched the ball carrier's flag. |
2013 | ![]() |
![]() Takari Johnson Junior |
Takari Johnson's game-clinching TD catch, 11/20/13 vs Pederson Painters The Hooligans held a 50-44 lead late in a critical game against the Pederson Painters to secure a playoff spot. The team could not run out the clock entirely, so they looked to a score a touchdown to put the game practically out of reach. The Hooligans were facing a 4th down situation just outside the Painters' endzone, and Takari came in clutch showing good hands to haul in a short TD pass to secure the victory. |
2013 | ![]() |
![]() Justin Litzner Grad student |
Justin Litzner's go-ahead 2pt conversion catch, championship game vs BDB The 2013 championship game between the Hooligans and BDB was an exciting match, featuring several lead changes. With the Hooligans trailing by 10 points late in the game, a Bre Taylor touchdown put them down 1 point as they went for the PAT. The team went for 2 to take the lead, and Justin made a sensational diving catch to put the team up 57-56 with 1:30 to go. While the Hooligans did eventually give up a late game-winning score, Justin gave them a great chance to win the game with that catch. |
2013 | ![]() |
![]() Karlee Schaus Junior |
Karlee Schaus's finger-tip TD catch, championship game vs BDB The Hooligans found themselves in an early 12-0 deficit in the championship game after giving up two early touchdowns. After two straight empty possessions on offense, the team drove down the field and found themselves just outside BDB's end-zone. Karlee came up with a great finger-tip catch on a low throw to haul in her first touchdown of the season, putting the Hooligans right back in the game. |
2014 | ![]() |
![]() Herman Mason Sophomore |
Herman Mason's game-winning PAT catch, championship game vs Bottom of the 5th The Hooligans found themselves down 56-49 with 25 seconds to go in the championship game, but the team was about to make arguably the most legendary drive in franchise history. 2014 | ![]() |
![]() Angela Martin Senior |
Angela Martin's long TD run, 65-55 win vs Bottom of the Fifth The Hooligans desperately needed a win heading into the playoffs, and Angela would give her team a spark in this game. With the team up 43-35 in the 2nd half, Angela caught a short swing pass with the Hooligans around their own 10 yard line. She would then go on to run the entire length of the field, showing her blazing speed and making several great cut moves on her way to the endzone. ![]() Lukas Mueller Sophomore |
Lukas Mueller's early interception, 49-42 loss vs Bottom of the Fifth The Hooligans opened their season against Bottom of the Fifth, playing before a franchise record 7 fans in the first game of a double header. The team won the coin toss and elected to start on defense. The move would quickly pay off as Lukas would use his height to get in good defensive position and intercept a deep pass. 2015 | ![]() |
![]() Marshall Oetting Junior |
Marshall Oetting’s touchdown pass to Micah Oetting on the first offensive play, 89-35 win over the Wamp Rats After the defense forced a punt in the Hooligans’ season opener, the offense took the field on the 10-yard line. On the very first play from scrimmage Marshall dropped back in the pocket and fired a deep pass to Micah who hauled it in for the score. The early touchdown set the tone for what would be a lopsided 89-35 Hooligans victory. |

![]() Angela Martin Senior (5th year) |

![]() Humphrey Ihejirikah Senior (5th year) |
Humphrey Ihejirikah's game-winning touchdown in the championship game, 70-54 win over #3 We Love TDs The 2016 title game featured modified rules due to the main field being unavailable, the biggest difference being that the first team to 70 points won the game. ![]() Mike Russell Grad student |
Captain Mike Russell's touchdown, 62-53 win over the Wamp Rats The Hooligans led 14-6 early in the second game of their doubleheader against the Wamp Rats. 2017 | ![]() |
![]() Blake Dean Freshman |
Blake Dean’s “pick 6” in the season opener against the Wamp Rats (recap) While the Hooligan offense had difficulty moving the ball against a stifling Wamp Rats defense in their season opener, it was the defense that provided a scoring spark late in the first half.
