Oct 15, 2009 - The Pigskin Hooligans opened the 2009 season against one of the toughest teams in the league. Not only that, they had to play 5 on 7 the entire game due to lacking a girl on the field. Yet the team showed their grit and actually led 28-27 at one point before eventually falling 41-28. Zach Johnston, Erik Mendoza, and Max Joseph rotated the QB duties for the team in the game. Zach and brother Zane Johnston paced the offense with 2 scores apiece. For the Kidney Stones, Tyler Case handled most of the QB duties going 11-14 passing for 3 TDs as well as running in 2 TDs himself. Carolyn Milz had a noteworthy performance, scoring both a touchdown and a PAT.
