Sun, May 17 - A virtual graduation ceremony was held online by Concordia University Ann Arbor this past Sunday, celebrating the accomplishments of 164 CUAA graduates. The Hooligans had 4 representatives in the class of 2020, receiving their degrees after many years of hard work in the classroom. Congratulations to the Hooligan graduates: Amber graduates from Concordia with a degree in elementary education. She competed for the Hooligans back in 2018, seeing action in the team’s 84-64 victory over the Wamp Rats during the regular season. Amber made an impact in that contest, making a reception and using her cross country/track background to run for extra yardage. She also contributed on defense with flag grabs. Kordell graduates from Concordia as a member of the Pre-Dentistry program. He competed for the Hooligans in both the 2018 and 2019 seasons. As a member of CUAA football, Kordell made a big impact with his skills scoring 5 TDs and 6 PATs on offense. On the other side of the ball, he received Defensive Player of the Year in 2018 after multiple forced fumbles and solid flag grabs. Perry graduates from Concordia with a degree in General Business. He played for the Hooligans in 2019, serving as a critical sub for the team’s playoff run on a cold Sunday afternoon. Against the White Choppas, Perry hauled in a touchdown and a PAT to help the team in its 82-61 victory. In the championship, he tacked on another touchdown against the Black Slicers to aid the team’s efforts. Ryan graduates from Concordia with a double-major in both Psychology and Justice and Public Policy. He competed for the Hooligans in the 2019 season, making an impact in another championship run. Ryan’s track star speed made him an agile wide receiver, leading him to haul in 2 touchdowns and a PAT on the year. His quickness also made him a solid defender as well.
Once again, congratulations to all of the Pigskin Hooligan graduates! The franchise wishes you success in all your future endeavors. ROLL HOOLIGANS!
